Handwoven Apron – Natural Indigo

Fabric:
This linen canvas was handwoven by a German woman from the region of Hannover around the year 1900. The light natural color was achieved by laying out the fabric on the snow and then letting it bleach by the sun.
The blue color was hand dyed with natural organic Indigo from India at our Studio in Antwerp. 

Trims: 
Horn buttons, made in Italy.
